Random
Recently I met a lady that said she liked my hair and was trying to go natural and I was encouraging her to do so. I told her to be PATIENT and to not be discouraged by her kinky roots. She had tried going natural in the past and she had given up and gone back to wearing a perm. I remember back when I first went natural, I was so excited when I saw my roots curling up and the perm was growing out. It was a great feeling to see my natural hair texture. Lately, I find myself talking to other new naturals about accepting their natural hair texture. Whether your hair is Straight, Wavy, Curly, or Kinky.....................IT IS ALL YOURS!!! Why not embrace the beauty of it! I love being able to style my hair and not worry about chemical damage. I have been natural about eight years and I have finally found the joy in it! I am so grateful that I was able to make it this far. It really makes a statement! What about you ladies?

PURE BOREDOM
Today I realized that I have become bored with styling my hair. Urrrrgh! I am one that likes to change my hair styles very often and lately I have just felt uninterested. Now don't get me wrong, I love my hair, I just need a big change. I even thought about cutting it(so not going to happen). I've also been thinking about Senegalese or Yarn Twists. I just haven't gotten around to doing them. Am I alone or what? Is anyone else bored with styling their hair as of lately? It would help to know I am not alone here!
